Block 23

Block 23 is the highly anticipated urban mixed-use development in the heart of downtown Phoenix It is designed to create a vibrant live-work-play environment that will be home to the area’s first grocery store by Fry’s Grocery store, which has long been sought after by residents and city leaders. Slated for completion in 2019, Block 23 will also include approximately 330 apartments, 200,000 square feet of creative office space, restaurant and retail uses along with above- and below-grade parking. This 2.98 gross acre parcel is bounded by Jefferson Street, Washington Street, 1st Street, and 2nd Street in downtown Phoenix. This site was originally owned by the City of Phoenix. Legal representation included development agreement and all land use entitlements.
